He has many successes in mathematics competitions and, in 2007, achieved a perfect score in the Westpac Australian Mathematics Competition. He was awarded a gold medal and the B H Neumann Certificate for being the only Senior student in Australasia to attain this perfect score. Derrick also has extensive experience in public speaking and mathematics coaching: Motivational Speaker Derrick is regularly invited to schools to help inspire students and to equip them with the techniques to accomplish their goals. Derrick's other extracurricular achievements include: In addition to his educational roles, Derrick currently works as a doctor. During his training, he also won multiple Dean's honors Awards. At school, Xavier partook in a wide range of extracurricular activities. In addition to being a Prefect in Year 12, he was also elected Debating Captain. He appeared in a number of school musicals and plays, and performed in both instrumental and choral ensembles. He twice won awards in the champion College Essay Competition. He is a recipient of the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust Scholarship. He is currently studying medicine at Mon ash University. Whilst completing Year 12, Samuel also gained experience as a tutor in Mathematical Methods. Samuel was awarded a Senior School Principal’s Award, in acknowledgment of his commitment to the music program at Balwyn High School and his excellent academic results. In addition to his academic achievements, Roshan has excelled in public speaking. He has also received many Distinctions in various academic competitions. Roshan has been a tutor with Derrick Ha Student Coaching Services for the final four years. He is also currently studying medicine at Mon ash University.
